Les Leurs B&B farmhouse is a
British-owned bed and breakfast accommodation in beautiful rural
France. It is ideally located close to Cognac. Angouleme (Cognac)
Airport is 25 minutes away and Les Leurs is within easy reach of
Angouleme TGV station. Poitier Airport is 1 hour 15mins,
Limoges Airport is about 2 hours away. Les Leurs is also just
a short drive from the N10 and about an hour from the coast near La
Rochelle, Royan.
Located in the beautiful
Poitou-Charentes. Surrounded by undulating fields of sunflowers,
vineyards, maize, rape and wheat. "Les Leurs" B&B is an old
Charentaise house full of French charm and original features offering
a warm welcome and comfortable stay.
Walking or cycling are perfect
ways of exploring the Charente, with its soothing patchwork of
landscapes. We are ideally situated between two golf courses, one at
Cognac 20 minutes away, and another at Angouleme 25 minutes away. For
the more adventurous, their is kayaking and horse-riding.
Rouillac, just 5 minutes by
car, has an excellent restaurant and pizzeria. An outdoors swimming
pool, a theatre, large supermarket, boulangerie, and butcher.
Rouillac is famous for its
monthly vingt-sept market held on the 27th of every month which
sells almost anything from live stock and swimming pools to clothes and
shoes. It is worth going just for the experience.
If you just want peace and
tranquillity you can just relax in the large garden under the fruit
trees with a book. We are blessed with long hot summers.
All B&B rooms are light and spacious with en-suite, television/video,
fridge, coffee and tea making facilities.
Breakfast is served in the farmhouse dining room or
on the terrace (weather permitting) overlooking the rear garden and
fields beyond. Our B&B has a
strictly no-smoking policy (in all buildings) and we do not accept
pets (sorry).
